only saw the last 2 games of set 2 and the tiebreak but Lloyd looked to be off form. Are they a shadow of their former selves at the moment?

Certainly struggling right now. Confidence can be fragile.

Re other Brits - anyone hear or see any news on Joe? His plan was to be away at least until April. Wondering what his current timings are?

He is on the list to play at Monte Carlo with Cabral.

Ok, thanks for that info. Is that on the tournie site or is there a site showing doubles entry lists? Thanks !

Neal and Christian had that amazing AO triumph but things havent gone so well since and, for Lloyd and Julian, it has been a ropey start to the year. Luke and Zielinsky havent fired either at the top.

Thankfully, Henry and Harri keep the flag flying and seem to be in mean form overall since the AO, lets hope they can continue that this week.

I see Neal is set to possibly lose the WR1 spot today, if Granollers and Zeballos win their last 8 match they will head to the top, specifically Zeballos will be top. They have started ominously, breaking serve on the first return game against Nys and ERV, leading 3-0

Yes, Lloyd's service games have changed from a forgone conclusion to a bit of a liability lately. That said, Julian also lost his serve to 15 in the first set, which is very unusual.

Wouldn't be hugely surprised if Julian & Joe is on the horizon soon...

I guess Julian and Joe okay forehand/backhand so that fits well. Never thought of them as a pair - have they played together in the past at any point?
