Jan beat him in a tight 3 setter a couple of weeks ago
Takes Jan to a new CH in live rankings.
Long way to go this week but he is getting closer to that top 100 mark. I don't think his next match can move the ranking position though, needs to get deep into the event
L16: Roman Safiullin (***) WR 216 defeated (7) Jan Choinski WR 123 by 2 & 3
Safiullin has clearly played at a much higher level than 216, but I think will be disappointed with that loss.
I got v excited the other week at Jan's prospects of reaching the top 100, seems it isn't an easy task to achieve and he has hit a little wall, at least for now
