Yes, and actually of course Felix is also looking good for getting into Wimbledon Qualifying without the need of a Q WC.

It can be confusing having so many this year who won't get into the MD ( directly or with a MD WC ) but will probably get into Q without the need of a Q WC.

QF:  (1) Filip Duda & Stefan Latinovic (CZE/SVK) CR 262 (137+125) "defeated" Felix Gill & Toby Samuel CR 3134 (1385+1749) by a walkover  hmm

Hardly a surprise, methinks.

Felix takes the first set 7-6(5)

He was twice a break up and served for the set at *6-5 before winning out in the TB.

Yes but Felix retired.  Did anyone see what happened? Was he injured or was the second match in one day too much for him?

No idea (my original post suitably amended), but in theory, he's in the Santa Margherita di Pula M25 next week.

Just had a quick look at the stream. It looked as though he was having difficulty serving, called for the trainer, tried once more and then retired. Sadly it definitely looks like some sort of injury to me.
