Meg ended up with a LOT of tape on her right shoulder - and was complaining, near tears for some of that match (though more so when she lost the point than when she won it ...... )
And then did come out and play her doubles, so it can't have been that bad really (not that you'd have known it from the gesturing to her camp)
However, if it's her shoulder that's been bothering her all this year, then it's not great news.....
Tegan beating Hollie is definitely an upset - Hollie is one of the Loughborough girls, an LTA special pick, and top seed at this event.
But Hollie is better on clay, and Tegan ran rings round her on hard today - making it look very easy down her end, whereas Hollie looked to be working hard. Tegan just times the ball so well, she doesn't need to have a lot of wrist (and hence risk shanking it), or need mega muscles to power it. Her serve is pretty weak / average though - but Hollie did nothing with it - which was a glaring error.
