Liam is a set up against Holmgren.

It is a big stadium they are playing in, but deserted.

It's deserted of players now. A bit wet.

Liam 6-3 *0-1 up at the interruption.

Liam is now showing as live ranked 219 so should be sorted for French Open Q entry   biggrin

Might as well just keep winning though  ...

Liam played a poor service game at 5-5 to be broken only for Leandro to return the favour. The tiebreak was messy, ending up 7-3 for the Swiss

Though ( as David just said ) he has just lost the first set 6-7(3) vs Riedi. So it's going to be a long day for Liam if he is going to pull through this one as well.

No. He was actually a break up in the second set though Riedi had just held to love.

I wasn't watching at the time, but winding back the stream there was an easy service game for Riedi, but with no obvious distress, followed by a change of ends with the camera on Riedi, cutting abruptly to Liam coming to the net to indicate he couldn't continue

Liam was very het up in the second set of his quarter final when there was an incorrect line call, he claimed. He went on about it for quite a while shouting and being a bit of a prat to be honest. It may even have put his opponent off as they played a dreadful service game with at least one double fault. Liam went on to win the set and indeed the match. I thought he would lose there and then if he didn't get himself under control. But it was his opponent that folded though and Liam was perhaps running on adrenalin and won that match. He was really angry though for quite some time about that line call and his pent up state may well have predisposed him toward injury. Or maybe he did injure himself in his quarterfinal but it only started causing major problems in this semi final. Who knows..... Unfortunately I missed the semi final - I kept checking the schedule and it didn't show. I was surprised he didn't have a longer break. When I finally found the match it had ended.
