Shame Mimi is out, was hoping she might be back this week. No updates on Instagram apart from some pretty delicious looking cookies she was making!

Hmm, only 2 of our top 7 ranked women seem reliably fit and well just now, namely Katie B and Harriet.

Hopefully Emma, Fran and Katie S will line up in Madrid, Oeiras and Japan respectfully in week 16 after previous pull outs, and we will see Sonay and Mimi playing again soon after their pull outs.

It's not great in that regard.

Yet still was of course great what Harriet and Mika achieved in the BJK Cup tie and Katie S played the dead rubber there, though her back reportedly tightened up in the course of that match.

No surprise that on the WTA Live race, Katie B is 38, followed by Emma and Sonay at 51 and 53 respectively. Just shows the importance of being fit enough to be on court in the first place.

Major changes at the withdrawal deadline. Mika is out, but all those I mentioned are now in the main draw, plus 13 into qualifying.

As a reminder as prizes from the Junior National 18U and 16U, Daniella Britton has 2 MDWCs for the 2 weeks of Nottingham and Mark Ceban has a MDWC for week 1 and a QWC for week 2. Tegan Bush has a MDWC and Joshua Craze has a QWC that can be taken in either of the Nottingham weeks.
Also, Eliz Maloney has a QWC for one of the Nottingham weeks for winning the BUCS Individual Championships, although probably won't be needed in either week.
