Katie's match is not before 8pm tomorrow and follows fiance Alex who's match starts not before 7pm.

I wouldn"t have thought that Alex and Katie would like that schedule much.

No, particularly if Alex's match drags on a long time and Katie is kept waiting. There is also the problem of wanting to watch Alex and prepare for her own match.

Theyre both professionals- theyll focus on their own matches and if they dont they need to look at themselves and sharpen up their act!

Katie playing much better on the clay, and pushed Pegula in many of the games.

Never really thought watching that match that Jess was going to lose, Katie just had too many double faults against a player of that calibre, but I did think Katie made it a contest. On grass would have been a different story, but what an improvement on previous years. Now to the doubles with Venus!

The noise of the crowd was just amazing

THAT is why we have wildcards

Katie and Venus wrap up the tiebreak in thrilling fashion

 Absolutely biggrin

Venus will want a wildcard - and she has to play with someone - and a Brit makes sense

I'm expecting to see them together on the grass at Wimbly - especially as today went well
