Other events, 2026 - week 19


J60 Ivory Coast 

AkosuaLarbi-Mensah has made the final in doubles 

Also got one win in singles 

Tara Lawal lost in her first match 

 

J60 Latvia 

Oliver Page is 2nd seed and has made the QFs

Dasha Jones is 4th seed and is also through to the QFs

Anna Lee Young got a win and lost in R2

MilenaNahornaya lost in R1 to the 2nd seed

 

J30 Albania 

Matt Kiernan lost in R1 but got a win in doubles 

Antonia Bell also lost in R1

 

J30 Turkey

John Carney won his first match and lost to the top seed in R2

Mina Osborne lost in R1

J60 Latvia

Oliver Page won his QF 0 & 0, and is into the SF

Also into the semis in the dubs

Dasha Jones won her QF 4 & 1 and is also playing her SF today

And also into the semis in doubles


J100 Hungary

Bella Relton won her R1 before losing in R2

Sofia Tatu had a R1 BYE and then also lost in R2

Sofia+ are into the QFs in doubles though


J60 Spain

Rocco Richardson, Clarice Ouvarova and Matilda Burns all lost in R1

Clarice made the semis in doubles though

J60 Latvia

Oliver Page and partner won the doubles final, 7-5 7-5

Both Oliver and Dasha also won their singles semis and play their finals tomorrow

 

J60 Ivory Coast 

AkosuaLarbi-Mensah and partner lost their doubles final 

 All over in Hungary andn Spain

In Tennis Europe, the Cat 2 14U event in Slovenia has seen a decent tournout of Brits

Good luck to Tom Gabor who's made the boys final

Seb Beetlestone and Cam Rae made the QFs

Coco Witton and Lainee Ngassam made the QFs in girls

One yes, one no.....



Latvia J60

Oliver Page won the singles title, 6-4 6-3, beating the top seed

Dasha Jones came up just short, losing 3-6 7-6(3) 6-1, to a girl at least a year older

 Its an LTA trip for players on the NAGP programme. Good indicator of who the LTA like. I am a big fan of Coco Witton. I think shes going to be another Hannah/Mika over the next few years.

I don't think I've ever seen Coco play.....look forward to it


 Shes not the finished article yet by a long way. But shes technically good, has got a real understanding of the game, the right mindset and attitude and is a very good athlete. I think she will go far
