Phenomenal week for Giles - great to see him reaping the rewards over the past week for some very smart scheduling to win his first challenger title. Given the strength in depth among the Brits and the quality of the Birmingham field, I can see why he opted to postpone the grass by a couple of weeks to play these challengers.
Today's win should take him inside the top 300 for the very first time in his career.
Bertrand has had a miserable year at the hands of various Brits - hopefully Giles can continue that
