So Arthur looks like he is skipping Ilkley and this week altogether?

SHame after Birmingham that he didnt get an SE or WC of some sort, or at least take one, to keep the momentum going?

Maybe he is in Queens qualies ?

Maybe they'ed actually already awarded the MD WCs ( even if not announced ) before Arthur did so well that he couldn't play in the Netherlands?

He wasn't entered for Ilkley so a SE was not a option.

Fair point - well, hopefully Queens will have a qualies wildcard open for him and Eastbourne may also invite him, assuming he is heading to Wimbledon main draw

Arthur's family live in London, no hotels needed, so, for that reason and others, I think it's very likely he has a wildcard to Queens

Weather today looks like it might be ok for the start through until mid afternoon. It didnt rain overnight and is dry now but not sure if they cover all courts? I think they possibly do, in which case we might be ok for a reasonable start

Let us pray the schedulers display an iota of foresight this year - unlike the shameful scenes of years past that saw Charles Broom and Daniel Evans square off in an aircraft hangar, entirely avoidably.
