yeah, nalb called the trainer on twice, took some pills 1st time, seemed to be stomcah related. its sad when players retire but there no point to continuing, there was no way he was gonns beat fed so why risk making the injury worse just b4 wimby.
so fed reaches fo final, smaparas never did that right?

Nalby wasn't due at Queens. It's a shame he had to pull out as up to the injury it was really high class tennis, the best kind! Hopefully Nadal and Ljubcic can provide similar entertainment.

I managed to watch the Fed/Nalby match. I quite like David, but desperately wanted Roger to win, because I really want him to win the tournament and hold all 4 slams at the same time, followed preferably by going on to a calendar slam!
After the first twelve games I wanted to crawl into a hole and hide, I have never seen Roger play so badly, spraying balls everywhere but in the court. Then he suddenly seemed to wake up and started to play really well, pulling off some unbelievable shots. It was turning into a really good match, because throughout the second set Nalby's level didn't drop, it was just brilliant play by Fed. Very nerve-racking, as there was no way he could have kept that level up - but then David got the injury. A great shame it had to end that way.
Now for Sunday. I am nervous, because I think it could go either way, and I really want Fed to get his slam. I know it would mean the end of the clay streak for Rafa, but that has to go some time, and surely better on such a great occasion than in the first round of some tin-pot tournament. As for defending his title - he is young, he has years to get more French Opens, but this may be Roger's only chance to hold all four slams at once.
