First time watching Toby and only switched on from the end of the first set - does he always play so passive and without very much pace? Or is it just nerves of the occasion?
Who are the two BBC commentators for this Toby semi? One British and one American?
Is it not Dom Inglot and Greg Rusedski? That's who I thought it was all week
I thought it was Rusedski but at one point he talked about Henman and Rusedski in the third person
A thread on Facebook suggests it is Dom Inglot and Ravi Ubhar - Tennis TV commentary team.
Ravi is apparently Canadian and sounds like Rusedski so it fits
It really, really did not sound like Greg, not in terms of his voice and not in terms of what he said. I think his co presenter mentioned the name Ravi. Having dissed Beeb commentary only a few hours ago, I didn't have a problem with these two.
No doubt Jan generally thinks that Toby is a great guy but he can probably live with Toby losing there, and re top 100 not being taken to the wire of tomorrow's final.
I suspect it will only be a matter of time before Toby does enter the top 100 ( though we've said that about Brits before ) but for now, always assuming live rankings have it right ...
Congratulations to Jan Choinski WR 100
Yes Tara, WR 100 is in the top 100 ( old stagers here may recognise the reference ).

Personally I hate these north American commentators they have too many facts, figures and stats but know nil about technique, shot choice, foot work, hand grip. I expect they could commentate on many sports because of lack of detail, but loads of facts that can be looked up by anyone or stating the obvious.
