Hannah hangs in and wins 3 straight games from 5-4 down to take the second set 7-5! Her first serve percentage is mid 30s so there's significant room for improvement as well

Is Hannahs match being shown anywhere? Just JPJ showing on the Iplayer?

Cannot find any trace of Hannah's match being shown anywhere. Shame because I would much rather have watched HK but I suppose on the BBC a bloke with a posh name gets the nod.

Hannah down a break in the decider after a double fault and a telegraphed drop shot before an unforced error. She's had chances to break as well but not been able to take them so far

The BBC can only show what's on Centre. The Tennis Channel is supposed to have the rights to all courts but I think they only have their linear channel now?

Hannah breaks back before 2 more double faults give Valentova the chance to serve for the match. She's sitting at 48.7% first serves in for the match

Ah what a shame, losing 7-5 in the third. If she'd just served a fraction better it may have been enough. Especially at the end as after breaking at 4-5* she did go ahead in her service game. But a another step in the right direction and definitely playing much better.

I've been lurking for a while but this'll be my first post! Hannah will be disappointed to come out on the wrong side of that one but when she reflects on it that has to give her confidence moving forward. She's gone toe to toe with an emerging player on the edge of the top 50 (as opposed to someone travelling the other way down the rankings) and if she'd served just a little better could easily have come out on top.
