Week 25 - WTA250 - Eastbourne, Great Britain - Grass

Are there many jobs you can say are fun? Would be nice if there were!

Well, fair! But certainly not a job which leaves you crying, and not just once? Would anyone like to do a job that sent them home crying?!

PS and certainly enough enjoyment to outweigh the stress, surely that is something we should all aspire to?!

 Yes, fair point smile

My father used to say that you work in order to have the money to pay for your fun times

It's not so much the attitude any more

Tbh, it all depends what your options are

And also your character - some people cry more easily than others, some use it as a stress release, in the same way as a tennis player banging their racket on the ground is a stress release, I wouldn't read too much into the crying in and of itself

However, having lost three matches 5-7 in the third, if leading each time, that must really hurt

Insult to injury, Sonmez benefits from a walkover into the quarters.

Yes lots - I've much enjoyed my jobs, from selling ski-ing holidays to teaching law.

Is 'enjoyed' the same as 'fun' though?

At times - yes great fun.  We have laughed so much it hurt.

Yes, at times my jobs have all been fun too, with great laughs

But I wouldn't necessarily describe them as 'fun' jobs

And Harriet may well have a real laugh when she's training, and probably thoroughly enjoyed when she won the doubles last week

But there are bits that aren't so great too, hence the tears

The tears don't necessarily over shadow the laughs with the title though

Anyone know why play suspended at Eastbourne in WT250? Back playing now. Assume MTO
