Lose 6-3 in the third. Pretty abject quality really. Could have won that handily. Did well on the match points but Piter got very lucky in the final deuce (she's not a very likeable character on court us she!)

It was the total lack of communication between them on high calls. Drove me insane. And given they are Olympic quarter finalists we know they can play good doubles together! Their opponents are quite typical of the 50-80 WTA doubles specialist range - really not that great and able to keep a good ranking by winning a handful of matches in big tournaments every year.

I didn't get to see any of the doubles today as it was very crowded as usual and the matches were on the wrong courts in relation to court 1

I'm not surprised that they all lost, although Liv and Tereza were in a 50-50 match. I also thought Harriet and Maia could have had an upset win.

There are a lot of decent doubles players at the moment trying to break into the top 30 or so.
