Yep, most likely. I do usually add a wink, but on my phone it seems to seldom appear on the post.  This one was most definitely intended as tongue in cheek.

Well no doubt some folk think that the mixed would be good for Jack, clearly including Jack!

Though good point re that currently he is due to be in singles qualifying that week. I had temporarily forgotten about that though was clearly aware of it in the 'Race to the USO' thread where I had briefly touched on his MD WC possibilities.

Julian & Lloyd won 3 and 4, and looked pretty good - only lost 3 points on serve.

One odd thing though. They have quite a few break points with deciding point receiver's choice; on I think every occasion, Lloyd chose to return, and I don't think he was ever successful. Indeed, on one occasion, he received at 30-40 for the first break point and blew the return miles out, and then chose to receive *again* at deuce for the deciding point and did the exact same thing.

It doesn't make a lot of sense to me - Lloyd is not obviously a better returner than Julian, and when the ball's on his forehand he can be vulnerable. It must be a strange thing to have to decide in the moment who will take the deciding point, but if I were a coach, I'd be pointing out these patterns before the next match...
