Is it just me or do people think Jan should transition off CH 75 level events now he is top 100. By all means the odd higher level challenger, but Id like to see him push now for 250s and above where he can.

Agreed. Seems an odd choice after pushing properly into the top 100 rather than borderline. But also don't think it'll do him any harm if he can bag another challenger title and then solely focus on the ATP tour. Just to give him some extra cushion.

Jan favours the clay over hard. No bigger deal than that. There are no clay ATP events for a while

Fair enough and now I look harder I can see he has Cinci Masters next and then a 125 in Quebec, before US Open. Hopefully, he will then stick with ATP Tour post the US Open, I realise that is all hardcourt events in the Far East and then indoors back in Europe, I personally would rather seem him play some of those than clay challengers in that spell. Perhaps the Seville Challenger around the US Open, which is 125 level on clay, but then have a go at the hardcourt events.

He probably entered before the top 100 ranking kicked in.
