Live rankings - Fran 104 and Kaitlin 98 (OER)
LTR show Fran at live 105, seems to be with how they are treating Seidel and a 25 points difference between the two sites - might be the Canada thing that Indy talked about?

OER are wrong. There are no WTA points dropping in next week's rankings.
There do seem to be some errors, mainly for those not playing this week. Most of the players I looked at seemed to have the nett increases calculated e.g Fran 49 replacing 1 for a nett increase of 48 points. Quevedo 49 replacing 16 for a nett 33 increase.
Ha, looking at the specific live points for the top 30 British women and the top 20 overall, I had thought that OER was fine. I had missed that a simple trawl showed that there were quite a number of strange points reductions.
Maybe someone can write to OER ( though a bit late I guess ). live-tennis certainly listened ( I'm still amazed that on the face of their reply, they hadn't had quite a number of contacts and that it was little me that sorted them
Hmm, it always looked questionable playing here at all.
All the best to Fran and hopefully nothing much more than the matches catching up on her and / or the heat ( BBC shows it as currently 34C in Targu Mures ).
Now on a much more positive note, to enlarge on esrlier discussions :
Fran came out of Wimbledon wirh 4 R1 defeats in the grass season, after underwhelming clay court form for her, all of course after her horrible gym accident, facing defending 280 points in the following 4 weeks, including two WTA 125 titles.
So she has just gone and added 314 ( net 313 ), again including two WTA 125 tittes, in these 4 weeks this year. So overall up a net 33 points
So she keeps in touch with the top 100, at WR 106, and has nothing to defend in August, 165 points in September, and then nothing further this year.
