That's a shame. She looked fine during the final set of today's match. Have to wait and see if she withdraws from Aldershot next week - she's 16th on the qualifying list.

Yes, Brooke has been generally showing really good singles snd doubles form.

2 successive W35 singles QFs. In doubles she partnered Angela to the Nottingham W50 title in week 28 ( walkover in the final but still ... ), they reached the SF in the Aldershot W35 last week, and now into the final here.

First set to Ella 7-5
Ella twice led by a break, only to be broken straight back. This could go either way.

Good morning all. Quiet here     ( ah, TA beat me to starting the forum day as I was writing this )

Ella takes the first set vs Emily by 7-5

Both already look very likely to be back in the top 500 when the points from here add. Both indeed are clearly more than capable of being fixtures in the top 500 and a lot higher. ( edit: both will definitely be well in the top 500 now that Ella has won )

They will return later, partnering each other in the doubles final vs Brooke +

It was tighter than the scoreline suggests, but Ella is into the final.

As earlier, we had 2 seeds, (4) Mimi and (5) Naiktha. They dropped by the way early doors, and we still managed to get all 4 semi finalists.

By the way, Millie is now WR 440 after her Dublin RU last week.

Emily will be in the main draw at Aldershot in the coming week - Ella didn't enter.
Jodie is still in the qualifying list, and in doubles, so not sure why she withdrew this week. Perhaps she wants to play Aldershot and no SE or WC ?

Thanks Indi - I missed Millie when the rankings updated late on Monday. Up 68 from previously and 4 places in the GB pecking order.

She seemed to be walking very slowly at the end of the match cry

I think Jodie had a MTO in the first set, but obviously she came out after that to win the match.
