Quite a follow-up indeed after his Wimblefon SF to convert a first ATP tour SF into a first final ( I hope Duckworth iwill be OK for the US Open and he was maybe being particularly cautious ).
Back to GB #1 with that CH now 33 and it will necome 31 if he wins the title.
anazing to think where his ranking could rise to over the next 10 months or so. Just going to be adding points if things go well. Got to be looking at a top 20 opportunity for him. And this week shows he isnt too highly ranked at the level he is at, that is for sure.

Before Queen's in June his career ATP win / loss record ( Slam and ATP tour MDs and Davis Cup ) was 3 wins / 6 losses. Add 13 wins / 4 losses since and his current record is 16 wins /10 losses.
Interesting that Buse tried hard to go to US college, got a couple of good offers ..... but had huge visa complications and delays and, afer much effort, finally decided he could die waiting and just gave up on it
Also, curious that the last time I really say Buse's name was when he lost easily to our Will Jansen, at Roehampton in 2022
