I noticed 8 of the British men are in action today but Henry Searle is missing for some reason - or am I missing him?

I presumed all the mens qualies would be on court today?

It's about 50-50 men and women, with half of the total first round scheduled.

Ok, so the men got skewed 8 and 1 and the women 1 and 4 - wowser!

32 men's qualifying matches today and Brits involved in.a 1/4 of them !

Jake was very lucky to weather the storm at the start and midway in the first set

But once he came through that, he seemed to get better and better

Still not easy to see it out though - he did well

Good stuff. He's not a top 100 player for nothing

Good comeback from Toby. The Italian started making more errors in the second set and got increasingly frustrated. Toby was rock solid and didn't give him a sniff in the last two sets.

Shame he'll be playing Billy next round. Felt like both of them were capable of qualifying

Great to see three solid wins from Jake, Toby and Billy. Toby and Billy will be interesting for sure.

Meanwhile, come on Harry, lets see this through

Harry looking likely to go to a 3rd set at 6-4 *2-5

Felix 5-5* in the 1st set.

So we have currently won 3 lost 1, with 2 even matches in progress, and 2 more to come today.

Harry does go to a 3rd set, 6-4 3-6

Felix goes to a TB 6-6. Who is going to get in front there?

It was Felix's Italian opponent that took the TB. 6-7(3)
