Week 35 – WTT W15 - Monastir, Tunisia - Hard

Savannah has taken the first set against Katsumi too, think she'll have a WTA ranking if she gets the win?

This is only Daisy's second tournament according to her ITF profile. She is 19, and played quite a lot of J60's and J30's as a junior - without getting many wins (JCH=853)
So well done on getting her first counter.

Savannah has two counters from this summer, so a win today will get her a ranking inside 1500.

R1:- Savannah Dada-Mascoll (GBR) UNR/845 [Q13] def Nanari Katsumi (JPN) WR928 7-5 6-0

Third counter for Savannah.

I think there's a fair chance of Savannah winning both the singles and doubles events at Monastir this week. I based this on her US uni results plus seeing her at Roehampton and Aldershot in August.

She was unlucky to draw Brooke in first rounds twice and pushed her hard in a 3 set loss in their second meeting, and Eliz as well who was playing well above her ranking over the summer

And based on seeing Ansari too? She's WR 261 in the world - no idea really why she's playing here

But I hope you're right biggrin
