I think that is Caroline's doubles ranking, her singles ranking is 248. It's easy to get caught out by the WTA site that seems to flip randomly between the two rankings.
Yes, the WTA site is very annoying, usually defaults to the highest ranking but even when you select it and then look at anything else it flips back again. Now corrected, thanks Peter.
Mariia and Maya beat Guarachi (+Catherine Harrison) in Memphis in July, but coming up against someone with a CH of 11 must make it a tricky match - especially when there are weaker pairs in the tournament.
It's going to be an interesting 6 months for Maia.
Only 2 counters coming off
100 from Fujairah 26 Jan to 01 Feb 2026 (replaced by 98) 325 from Merida 23 Feb to 01 Mar 2026 (replaced by 81)
Other low counters
108 from Linz 06 Apr to 12 Apr 2026 125 from St. Malo 27 Apr to 02 May 2026 120 from Cincinatti 17 Aug to 30 Aug 2026 130 from US open 31 Aug to 13 Sep 2026
If she can keep winning R2 then she could go past Olivia Nicholls who has 821 points off this year and a best non-counter of 81.
GB women's doubles could get very competitive.
