Strong serve, return just about comes over and Finn crosses it neatly into the corner for a winner

Well done Finn! Kenny de Schepper is a blast from the past - I remember he used to be an absolute scourge of Brits in the grass court events and generally in the challengers about 10-15 years back. Drawing De Schepper was generally bad news for any of our hopeful wildcards.

Anyway now he's closing in on 40 and a lot lower ranked, hopefully Finn can get a modicum of revenge for all those many losses

For what it's worth, KdS's three-set match against the q11, Alberto Barroso, lasted for two hours & 36 minutes, while Finn's was two hours 20, but he's 13 years younger....
