Quite apart from the obvious bad draw, this is a really bad match up for Cameron with a 0-8 H2H. Zverev loves playing lefties as their natural shot is to go into his stength the backhand.

Glad Harri chose not to enter without Henry. They are down to play Shanghai as a pair but seems doubtful as Henry wanted to miss the Asian trip and they will most likely play again in Vienna, then Paris and the tour finals

That was a lot closer than I would have predicted - well played Mr Norrie.

The stadium court has a retractable roof and special cooling technology but it's an outdoor event with 11 courts at the centre in total. From wiki

The 2026 China Open is a professional tennistournament to be played on outdoor hardcourts. It will be the 25th edition of the China Open for men and the 27th for women. The tournament is categorized as a WTA 1000event on the 2026 WTA Tour[1] and an ATP 500 event on the 2026 ATP Tour.[2] Both the women's and the men's tournaments will be held at the National Tennis Center in Beijing, from 30 September to 11 October and from 30 September to 6 October, respectively.[

I do actually check, believe it or not. The ATP site doesn't make it clear, but refers to the retractable roof, so when I saw that, I plumped for indoor.

 Definitely outdoor.
