Henry in a bit of a dogfight on the dirt. He was a break up in the first, before getting broken back and then managed to narrowly sneak it 9-7 in the tiebreak.
But Giunta has just dominated the second set 6-2 so we're into a decider.
Still intrigued at the decision to play clay court challengers rather than hit the indoor courts in France. I'm assuming it's perhaps a game development thing to try and help Henry build his game on the slower surfaces

I had thought he'd be aiming at the Next Gen Finals as a possible target, he's only 5 places and circa 50 points of the top 8. A few good weeks would have put him in contention. Particularly as several top players will most likely not take up their places if they qualify. Presumably not a target.
For sure, strange that he didn't have a proper tilt at the Next Gen Finals as would have been good for his profile. But perhaps there's some long-term planning going on
Felix has made one of his slow starts. 3-0 down with the double break.
He's trying to do a Rafa and pepper Gadamauri's single handed backhand with heavy spin, but the Belgian's backhand seems to be his strongest shot so it's not working well at the moment
