Yes, Harriet started off a little all over the place

With Xinran hitting the ball sweetly, with good depth

But Harriet seems to have settled a bit now, has landed some decent serves

Harriet is stronger on the groundshots and should really win if she can get her serve firing.

Xinran played some nice tennis, and Harriet faltered

The depth of Xinran's groundshots is rather rattling Harriet - Harriet hits her best shot and it comes bacK, deep

Lovely relaxed arm in the young Chinese girl - her Serbian trainers have always been real technique hounds

But Harriet had her chance and couldn't capitalise

Yes when she missed the short forehand after saving the first break point at *5-4 deuce it sort of fell away.

Should have consolidated the break in the second but again great play from the Chinese player.

Harriet upset about a bit of crowd noise during points but, honestly, what does she expect?

Maybe it helps her to externalise it, as they say (!)

But I'm not convinced
