I'm listening to the radio coverage and it sounds like Andy's passing shots are working very well at the moment!


The best thing about the match so far... Andy has 74% first serves in!!

Murray serving first. holds to 15. 1-0
Mirnyi serving. Also holds to 15. 1-1
Murray serving. 40-15 (Mirnyi beginning to stay back sometimes as passing shot after passing shot wizzes past him, but that's not working either.) 2-1

great play by andy so far, for whatever reason max isnt finding his 1st serve anymore, maybe due to AM pressure. he;s still winning more of hsi serve points, but i feel andy may get a chance for a break b4 going to a a TB.

Mirnyi won his serve to love that time. Apparently the wind is playing a role making balls that should be in, out and visa versa.

He had a first serve percentage of 79% which is (in my opinion) the best thing about that match! When was the last time he came close to that stat?


This means Andy will probably (depending on whether out pins work) move up a few places in the rankings!
