I still reckon that Davy will still fight back and take this. He's a real grinder and also, I badly need my 1st pts Nicolay !!!!

I had Almagro  but also had Benneteau, so my $1m chances were stuffed by the 2nd result.

For some reason, I had the Undertaker down to beat Chela too.

Yeah, should have gone by the stats for Chela-Davydenko, dunno why I didn't. Just couldn't really imagine Chela outlasting Nicolay. Davydenko's never really done well on US hard courts for some reason, tho he;s good on rebound ace.

I thought Johansson would beat Baggy aswell so my stats look dismall, I'm on 0/4 so far. My only chances of getting any dosh from Penn now is if I head along there sometime and tell them to stick 'em up.

I found out recently that Guy Thomas [a coach at my club] actually beat Almagro in the juniors

YEs, all trace of it has been removed from the ATP site. You want http://contests.atptennis.com/

The standings still aren't up, but I think I got 13/16 on Monday and I'd only picked one of my losers (Davydenko) to go past R2.

The correct picks were: Tursunov, Ginepri, Vliegen, Spadea, Hrbaty, Sanguinetti, Nalbandian, Fish, Ferrer, Almagro, Baghdatis, Blake and Ferrero (the 13 I got right) plus Davydenko (I had Chela), Serra (I had Benneteau) and Lee (I had Clément)

Good luck.

I got 8/14 for day 1.

Lost out on Chela, Ferrer [I was sure Moya would beat him, he's won their last 6 matches and played great last week], Almagro [Martin had beaten him 3/3 times previously on hard], Baghdatis, Lee and Serra.

Was it not just 15 results on day 1 ?

I got 12/15 with Chela, Clement & Goldstein letting me down.

Daivd took the results from the livescore 'results' page which still list 15...they are missing Spadea beating Seppi....which i also got right so 13/16 for me

Well done Drew, you must be high up in the standings right now with that score.

Still nothing on the competition site - they must be trying to avoid us working out that there's already nobody left in the hunt for the $1 m! ;)

I had a much worse day on Tuesday, though I think that's probably because there really were a lot more surprising results. I got:

13/16 on day 1
9/16 on day 2
... for a R1 total of 22/32

Looking ahead, I've already lost 1 of my SF picks (Gasquet), an additional QF pick (Berdych) and 3 additional R3 picks (Davydenko, Acasuso and Nieminen) - I've not got any idea yet how bad that is relative to everyone else.
