Llodra's playing 6th seed Tipsarevic in rd1 which is good news for Alex. Llodra's game is very well suited to fast indoor courts but Tipsarevic did very well indoors earlier in the year, winning Belgrade, beating Llodra along the way.
Hartfield is more worrying, he's the top seed in Quito so is quite likely to make the quarters bar a major upset. Here's hoping though.
Luckily Moodie will go no further as he faces a certain R Federer in rd3.
That's a big shock with Hartfield going out so early in Quito, I certainly didn't expect that. Very handy aswell with Boggo struggling early on against Sluiter
Yay! Boggo is number 3. Finally. Sorry I've not know who to put pins in this week as no internet connection.
I have been sending the positivity to Boggo though and that seems to be paying off so I'll carry on. I want to come back next week and find he's won the tournament please.

we'll do our best. could you think negative thoughts about Belgians in general please (Vliegen, Rochus, Rochus & whoever the wildcard is that Vliegen's playing)
The table's updated. Boggo's the only man left standing!!!
Moodie went out. So Alex is guaranteed 128th if he wins tomorrow (against the very tired winner of the three setter in action now), and will be in the top 120 if he makes the final.
Andy's nemesis, Jiri Novak is still there ahead of him, but otherwise, all the places are there for the taking: everyone else between 100 and 160 is out of action.
The table's now extended up to WR115, so we can see where Boggo gets to (119) if he beats Chiudinelli tomorrow. Chiudinelli himself arrives at the base of the table.
