I imagine the tournament organisers can do this but seems unusual for this course of action unless is last couple of days when scheduling getting really tough!
Former British number one Tim Henman's third round clash against Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro was just one of several matches postponed until Friday.
cant they play at night! i suppose its good in a way for henman, if he does beat del potro, he cant say fatigue was a problem against his QF opponent, because his opponent would also be playing 2 matches in one day.
(12)J Monaco (ARG) vs (5)J Nieminen (FIN) - postponed until Friday due to rain (15)V Spadea (USA) vs (2)T Robredo (ESP) - postponed until Friday due to rain R Schuettler (GER) vs (3)M Ancic (CRO) - postponed until Friday due to rain (6)D Tursunov (RUS) vs (9)H Lee (KOR) - postponed until Friday due to rain J Del Potro (ARG) vs (10)T Henman (GBR) - postponed until Friday due to rain
Can't believe it got postponed for rain. As I was hoping it would before I went to bed last night. Can't believe it actually was. Some kind of strange coincidence.
At least it will be on at a semi-reasonable time here now, 1 am if my calculations are correct.

Yeah, shouldn't be too long now before the match starts. It's always easier staying up for a match than going to bed and then trying to get up in the small hours.
The Murrays should be on at 2am aswell. If Henman wins, what sort of time will his quarter-final be ?
Henman's a lot more experienced at this sort of thing so it should favour him a lot more than Del Potro. With the courts being fairly fast I think that will also favour him quite a bit.
It's a shame that he couldn't have played on centre court last night but I suppose play couldn't go on into the early hours Tokyo time.
Seems to be the last match on the centre court, I'd hazard a guess on when it could be on but I'm not going to. But I suppose it won't be till late evening at the earliest in Tokyo.

That's good. So we should be able to get 6-7 hours sleep before the quarter-final ?
