Norman breaks at the start of the 2nd to make matters even worse. Jonny saved 3 bps but then double-faulted at deuce and Norman took his 4th chance

Jonny's serve appears to have gone a walk-about at the start of this set. A 4th double fault at 30-30 gives Norman a point for a double break....

which he duly converts to leads 6-4, 3-0

Looks like adieu Marray till next week

Big Dick breaks again to 30 and then serves out the match to 30 for a pretty crushing 64 60 win.

Josh holds to 30

A bit of a depressing start to the new season so far, our top 3 female players all going out in rd1 of Auckland qualies, Marray got thumped 4 and 0 by Norman and the Doha scoreboard isn't fully functional so we can't follow Baker and Murray !

Josh is looking the most likely to break so far

He's at deuce on James' serve

However, James' serving is consistently getting him out of trouble and it does so again, he takes the next two points to lead 4-3
